Maria Shriver Refuses to Take Down Christmas Lights

Neighbors are reportedly complaining the decorations on her Brentwood home are an eyesore.

Author and journalist Maria Shriver referred to "Holy Monday" earlier this week as the reason (or excuse) not to take down her Christmas lights from her Brentwood home, reports TMZ.

The former First Lady of California, who's now separated from Arnold Schrwazenegger, said the lights represent way more than one holiday.

Neighbors have reportedly been complaining the springtime Christmas lights are an eyesore.

Seriously? The sour, dour neighbors asked her to take down her lights? Good for you, Maria! It's your house, do what you want. I love the idea of lights up all year long. That would be so cheerful. Wish you were my neighbor. You'd get no complaints!

This is absurd. I live on N. Carmelina and the lights are anything but an eyesore.
