If a Tree Falls on Barrington...

High winds mean the end of a big tree–or a big branch.

High winds sent a tree crashing onto Barrington Avenue on Sunday night.

The tree fell into the east lanes of the street across from the entrance to the dog park and post office parking lot.

Brentwood Patch reader Lindsay Haselton sent in these snapshots taken by her boyfriend Pete Whittle.

The tree was still blocking traffic as of 11 a.m. Monday.
