Ramps on the 405 Freeway between Getty Center Drive and the 101 Freeway could begin to close as early as 7 p.m. on Friday as crews begin work on the Mulholland Bridge, according to Metro.
All northbound lanes will be closed first at approximately 10 p.m., followed by the southbound lanes and all lanes will be closed by midnight, officials said.
According to Metro, crews will be installing temporary girder plates across the freeway lanes to support the bridge while the reconstruction takes place.
During the lane closures, Sepulveda Boulevard will remain open as a detour route. Visit the Metro website for detour maps.
