Brentwood Week in Review: So-Called Art, School Seismic Safety and Search for SaMo Bomber

Last Sunday's Spring Art Show featured fun for kids and families, frolicking puppies and public service booths from area civic groups along with artistic offerings, good enough for two stories.

  • First, we offered a  featuring puppies and hot dogs, paintings and babies, median strip handstands and canine scent-identity rituals. 
  • Mario Muller's Eye of the Beholder column offered a at the art show's "art."

The column sparked so much controversy Muller that didn't seem to please fans of exhibitor Adam Stone. The comment threads on these articles continue.

Tuesday's night meeting of the was light on news (there will be a resolution upcoming on the Munger project); the LAPD's offered the BCC an update on crime-fighting efforts [video.]

Wednesday and Thursday Brentwood Patch took a look at in a cooperative investigative journalism project undertaken in conjunction with California Watch. 

Brentwood bottom line: It appears and all problems have been or are being corrected.

An auto accident by appeared on our radar Saturday.  The 2 million Tweeple invited to the neighborhood effort did not block Beloit when we were there.

Saturday was despite the continuing search for the suspect in the Santa Monica bombing. We stopped by both places to see what was up.
