Men's and women's clothing line Velvet by Graham & Spencer plans to open its first Los Angeles retail store at 26th and San Vicente in Brentwood by the end of April to early May.
According to Velvet spokesman Devon Branam the Brentwood store will carry both women's and men's styles. The women’s collection will include a variety of everyday essentials including basic tees, tanks and leggings as well as luxe dresses, tops and knits. The limited-edition Lily Aldridge for Velvet collection will also be available. The men’s collection will include stylish staples and off-duty essentials including tees, polos and more.
Prices will range from $50 to $350. Velvet started in 1997 as a fashionable tees, tanks and tops line before taking off.
Branam said the overall feel of the approximately 1,500-square-foot brick and mortar space at 13020 San Vicente Blvd. will be that of an open airy loft, with polished cement flooring will lend an industrial vibe to the clean and simple space. The walls and ceiling will be coated with white paint to brighten the store dominated by wooden beams that are original to the structure which was built in the 1920’s. Clean architectural lines will be presented throughout the store with minimal décor keeping the aesthetic focus on the Velvet collection.
