Sprouts

The newest addition to Bristol Farms opened its doors at 3105 Wilshire Blvd. in Santa Monica, with customers ready to enter as soon as the doors opened.

New York-based fashion boutique Rag & Bone is rumored to open its second Los Angeles store, reportedly on San Vicente Boulevard this October in Brentwood.

Venice Milk & Cereal – which will open at 1629 Abbot Kinney Blvd. - is the brainchild of Gregory Rogove and Diana Garcia and the pair have launched a kickstarter campaign and hope to raise $15,000 to help fund their breakfast bar dream.

Murray's Cheese, a famous New York City cheese shop, will soon open locations inside Ralph's grocery stories, including a proposed location in Marina del Rey.

The family-owned Brentwood General Store relocated from its former space in Brentwood Country Mart, and now operates in a 1,200-square-foot space on an attractive block of Montana Avenue in Santa Monica.

Kind Kreme, a vegan ice cream store on Ventura Boulevard in Studio City, has shuttered, but the owners say they will be opening a store in Culver City.

Signature Burger, which specializes in burgers with an international flair called "world burgers" recently opened on Main Street in Culver City. According to its owners, Signature Burger offers a burger lineup that infuses "flavors from China, India, Italy, Hawaii or just down the road all American."

Last season's winning chef-mentor from The Taste and former Top Chef competitor, Brian Malarkey, plans to open a restaurant in West Hollywood's Mondrian hotel, according to the Los Angeles Times. Malarkey's concept for the restaurant is yet to be decided, but is tentatively slated to open at the end of the year.

Gastropub State Social House opens on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood at the end of the month with a globally influenced American pub menu, reports EaterLA.

An unnamed restaurant being planned at 8730 W. Sunset Blvd. in West Hollywood hired the former executive chef at Top Round, Steven Fretz, reports EaterLA.

Mega Italian mart Eataly is rumored to be heading to the Westfield Century Mall, reports EaterLA.

Specialty coffee roaster Andante Coffee Roasters is coming to a Beverly Boulevard location in Mid-City in September, according to EaterLA.

Chomp Eater & Juice Station is moving next to a vacant space previously inhabited by 16th Street Cleaners in Santa Monica, according to EaterLA.

Shutters

Madison in Pacific Palisades closed its teen store in late July but will keep its womens clothing boutique open in the village.
