Chipotle Mexican Grill Opening Next Week In Brentwood

The restaurant will be located on San Vicente Boulevard.

Chipotle Mexican Grill is planning to open a restaurant in Brentwood next Wednesday on San Vicente Boulevard at the corner of Barrington Avenue.

The new restaurant location will be the seventh in the West LA area and like the others, it will serve a focused menu of burritos, burrito bowls, salads and tacos.

According to a statement from Chipotle, the restaurant will incorporate natural meats from animals that are humanely raised and free of antibiotics or added hormones. The menu will also feature local organic produce and dairy products that are from cows free of the hormone rBGH (recombinant bovine growth hormone).

“Chipotle is committed to making high-end dining and top quality ingredients available and affordable so everyone can eat better,” Chris Arnold, Chipotle spokesperson, stated in a release. “To do so, we continue to extend our reach with new restaurants, and strive to continually enhance our ‘Food with Integrity’ philosophy.”

An increasing percentage of Chipotle dairy now comes from cows that are raised outdoors on pastures, according to a statement from the company. Also, the restaurant chain plans to procure more than 10 million pounds of produce from local farms during 2011.
