Brentwood Chocolatier Makes Big Splash in Asia

Jonathan Grahm of Compartés Chocolatier in Brentwood returned from a pre-Valentine's Day trip to Japan to open 100 pop-up shops.

Valentine's Day may be long gone, but the love of chocolate lives on beyond the boundaries of Brentwood and Los Angeles for one artisan chocolatier.

Jonathan Grahm, owner of Compartés Chocolatier on Barrington Avenue, makes some darn good chocolate creations and returned from a trip to Japan this month after opening 100 pop-up shops before the big holiday, reports the Los Angeles Times.

Reaching celebrity status in the eastern hemisphere, Grahm's chocolates have been featured in numerous publications, including receiving a perfect score in Bon Appetit Magazine.
