Anti-Fur Activists Protest Store Opening

A group of anti-fur activists from Fur Free Los Angeles gathers outside of the Brentwood Country Mart Friday to protest the opening of a women's clothing store said to sell animal fur.

Activists from the anti-fur group Fur Free Los Angeles held a demonstration at the on Friday in protest of the shopping center's newest addition, Intermix, a women's clothing boutique.

The activist group claims the store sells fur and thus practices inhumane treatment of animals as a result. Some 51,489 signatures have been gathered in support of Fur Free Los Angeles' cause.
