Fight Cancer with Yoga at Lulemon on Sunday

As a prelude to the Kickin' Cancer 5K run next Sunday (Sept. 29), a yoga center in Brentwood is planning a benefit stretch on Sunday morning this week.

In store yoga will be held at Lululemon Athletica Brentwood to benefit The Lynne Cohen Foundation for Ovarian Cancer Research this Sunday, Sept. 22 from 9:30-10:30 am. Bring a yoga mat or borrow one of lululemon's, and stretch it out.

They say: "STRETCH + STRENGTHEN your body + FIGHT WOMEN'S CANCERS $10 suggested donation"

Check out the interviews attached in the gallery that reveal the signs and stories of Ovarian Cancer, and that the disease is hitting younger and younger women. The symptoms are subtle. Know them. Know yourself. Listen as LCF Executive Director, Amy Cohen, reality TV star and philanthropist, Diem Brown, and Paulinda Babbini, President of The Ovarian Cancer Circle/Inspired by Robin Babbini, speak about their experiences and about what you need to know.

On Sept. 29, the Kickin' Cancer!® 5K Walk/Run & Family Expo and Kiddie Fun Run will raise funds and awareness for the early detection and prevention of ovarian and breast cancer.
