The film contains insightful interviews with key manufacturers, vendors, drivers & pioneers in the Electric Vehicle (EV) industry predicted to explode over the next 24 months as new electric cars like the Nissan LEAF, Chevy VOLT, Ford Focus Electric, Mitsubishi “i”, Fisker Karma, Tesla Model S, BMW Active-E, Coda, Wheego, Tango and others start arriving in showrooms nationwide. Viewers will likely consider these new EVs (which plug into a 110 outlet & don’t use a drop of gasoline or oil), before purchasing their next car. Warren Buffet predicts: “All cars will be electric in 20 years”.

The producers started promoting the film before its official release by working with several EV manufacturers & select dealers that began selling electric cars in late 2011. The film has screened in over 60 cities so far in traditional theaters, auditoriums, high schools, and libraries. The Hollywood premiere of the film was held at the Egyptian Theatre “with help from the North American Int’l. Auto Show and auto sponsors (including Nissan, Chevrolet, and ZAP), had ten (10) different new electric vehicles on display which many guests attending the premiere got to see for the very first time.” remarks Producer Cam MacGregor. Many celebrities contributed to this “green themed”, enlightening film including Jay Leno (who let producers in his garage to film him driving his 1909 Baker Electric), Ed Begley, Jr., Fabio who appeared in the film, and “Baywatch” star & EV activist Alexandra Paul who hosted a behind the scenes chapter for the DVD. After meeting with President Obama (who is encouraging electric car & new battery technologies in the U.S.), Executive Producer and renowned Artist Romero Britto (www.Britto.com) painted the world’s 1st BRITTO TM electric car (a Tango T-600 Commuter Car) now touring the country promoting the film, and Chábeli Iglesias signed on to host the film’s Spanish language version of the film which will be available for Latin American and Spanish speaking markets later in 2012.

In addition to promotional prizes given away at individual screenings, producers have given away two electric cars and half a dozen electric scooters via FacebookÔ. “We’re planning at least 100 more film screening events in 2012” explains producer Scott duPont who promises to continue with more give-aways while educating the population about these brand new electric cars. DuPont adds: “the film dispels over a dozen popular myths about electric cars and stimulates new questions from audiences at every screening event.” The film is now available on Pay Per View in all major U.S. & Canada cable markets and for sale on DVD. The film is also streaming on i-Tunes, Amazon, BigStar.TV, Facebook, and will soon be on Netflix.

The film was shot on locations around Michigan, California, Florida, and New York, including Jay Leno’s Garage, the Petersen Automotive Museum, the Int’l. Detroit Auto Show & the Henry Ford Museum.
