SUBDUCTION Book Publication Party with Todd and Linda Shimoda

Celebrate the release of Los Angeles local husband-and-wife team Todd and L.J.C. (Linda) Shimoda’s new novel, Subduction, a thoughtful, timely literary mystery in which art and narrative collide in a singular reading experience. Subduction is Shimoda’s fourth novel. His previous books include 365 Views of Mt. Fuji, The Fourth Treasure (named a notable book by the Kiriyama Prize) and Oh! A mystery of mono no aware (chosen as an NPR Summer Best Read).

Todd and Linda will discuss their inspirations behind Subduction as well as their unique creative process combining their literary and visual talents to re-imagine the book. Linda will also share selections from the book’s original brushstroke artwork. Refreshments will be served.
