Publication Party for "Insincerely Yours" with Bernard Radfar at Diesel Bookstore

Diesel, A Bookstore in Brentwood welcomes local author Bernard Radfar to the store to celebrate the publication of his new book, Insincerely Yours, on Tuesday, September 25th at 7pm.

When eternal prankster Bernard Radfar created a make-believe character, "Mark Black," a filthy rich eccentric with some highly unusual needs, he had no idea that his requests for bizarre services would actually bring him responses. "Mark" tended to expect a lot - after all, the richest do - and wrote to a wide range of companies who might be willing to satisfy the requests of an affluent individual. Among them is a request for a private jet to fly his Brazilian lover(s) to his ranch house in Germany, a literal ton of beluga caviar for next-day delivery to satisfy the munchies... and asking how he, as a self-published author, could apply for the Nobel Prize for Literature.

In addition to Insincerely Yours, Bernard Radfar is the author of Osama's Guide to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. His screenplay, Coup, about the 1953 CIA plot against the democratic government in Iran, is currently in development. He is also a regular contributor to The Huffington Post. He lives with his wife and two children in Los Angeles, where he walks several miles daily.
