Fred Weintraub at Diesel Bookstore

Diesel, A Bookstore in Brentwood welcomes legendary producer Fred Weintraub to the store to discuss and sign his new memoir, Bruce Lee, Woodstock and Me, on Sunday, February 19th at 3pm.

With the immense (and unexpected) success of Woodstock -- his very first project for Warner Brothers -- Fred Weintraub was given his own production company. His first independent film was set on an island near Hong Kong, starring a little-known martial arts instructor. Upon its release, Enter the Dragon became an international phenomenon, and the film's star, Bruce Lee, became a household name.

Prior to his work in films, Fred founded The Bitter End in Greenwich Village. One of the most famous nightclubs in entertainment history, it helped launch the careers of Bill Cosby, Woody Allen, Neil Diamond, Richard Pryor, Joan Rivers, Billy Crystal, Peter, Paul and Mary, and many more.
