Cast Your Groundhog Day Prediction! Will Phil See his Shadow?

On Saturday, Feb. 2, Punxsutawney Phil will appear again to make his prediction about spring.

Will Punxsutawney Phil see his shadow this year?

If the groundhogs see their shadow this year, they will be frightened and want to run back into their burrow, and six more weeks of winter will follow, according to traditions brought to America by German (Pennsylvania Dutch) immigrants. If they don't, spring is around the corner.

Phil is expected to leave his burrow at 7:20 a.m. today at Gobblers Knob in Punxsutawney, PA. He will then observe the weather conditions and look for his shadow.
