Brentwood Residents Spread the Love and Their Wealth

Brentwood's Renee and Meyer Luskin Visit New Children's Clinic at Santa Monica-UCLA Medical Center and Orthopedic Hospital

The Renee and Meyer Luskin Children’s Clinic of Los Angeles Orthopedic Hospital has relocated to its new home in the Orthopedic Hospital Institute of Santa Monica-UCLA Medical Center and Orthopedic Hospital.

The opening of the new hospital is the result of a strategic alliance between Los Angeles orthopedic Hospital (LAOH) and UCLA that began in 1998. It enhances each institution’s capacity to lead advancements in musculoskeletal patient care, research and education throughout the world. Complementing this alliance is Renee and Meyer Luskin’s extraordinary $1,000,000 gift to LAOH -- the single largest gift made by an individual benefactor during his or her lifetime in the 100-year history of the institution.

“Renee and I are deeply gratified to see the impact of our contribution to Los Angeles orthopedic Hospital that has resulted in continued outstanding and patient-centered treatment for all children in need of specialized care by pediatric orthopaedists. Knowing that children are receiving the best possible care by compassionate clinicians in a child-friendly environment reaffirms our commitment to the inspiring work of Los Angeles orthopedic Hospital,” says Meyer Luskin.
