Did you know that CA Peace Officers’ Memorial Day is this Monday, May 7th? It’s a day for all of us to honor California peace officers, and recognize those who were killed defending our communities.
For the third time, The California Lottery and the California Peace Officer's Memorial Foundation (CPOMF) have teamed up to create a limited edition Scratchers® ticket called “Stars & Stripes” to benefit a cause we can all appreciate. A portion of each ticket sold goes to CPOMF, which provides financial and emotional support to families who have lost a loved one in the line of duty. A total of over $390,000 has been raised for CPOMF through this partnership in 2009 & 2010.
