Parking fees increase to $10 after 5 PM; daytime rates remain unchanged at $15

The J. Paul Getty Trust today announced parking rates at both the and will increase to $10 after 5 p.m. effective Nov. 21. Previously, parking was free after 5 p.m. Parking rates during the day remain unchanged at $15, and admission remains free.
The $10 parking fee after 5 p.m. applies to visitors attending evening events throughout the week, including theater, music, film, lectures, and other special programs at both the Getty Center and Getty Villa, and to Museum visitors at the Getty Center on Saturdays, when the Museum remains open until 9 p.m.
As always, the Getty is free to visitors who arrive by bus or are dropped off by taxi or private vehicle.
The Getty Center is open Tuesday-Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., except for Saturday, when the Museum and the Restaurant are open until 9 p.m. No parking reservations are necessary. Museum admission is always free.
The Getty Villa is open Wednesday-Monday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free, but advance timed tickets are required. Tickets are available at www.getty.edu or (310) 440-7300. Same day tickets are frequently available.
