Attention commuters, residents and businesses in the vicinity of Sepulveda Boulevard between Mountaingate Drive and Skirball Center Drive.
Further work to complete the undergrounding of overhead utility lines will continue on Sepulveda Boulevard between Mountaingate Drive and Skirball Center Drive. The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power will perform a jack and bore operation to support power conduit installation near Mission Dump Rd, which began Monday, Oct. 29.
This operation is anticipated to last three weeks and will be performed on weeknights between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. and throughout the entirety of weekends between Friday at 9 p.m. through Monday at 6 a.m.
Sepulveda Boulevard will be reduced to one lane in each direction during work hours.
Additionally, work to relocate overhead telecom lines underground will be conducted concurrently on Sepulveda Boulevard between Mountaingate Drive and Skirball Center Drive. This work is anticipated to last three months and will require Sepulveda Boulevard to be reduced to one lane in each direction between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. and 9 p.m. and 6 a.m.
Where: Sepulveda Boulevard between Mountaingate Drive and the area located approximately 500 feet north of Skirball Center Drive.
What to expect:
- Sepulveda Boulevard will be reduced to one lane in each direction during work hours.
- Sepulveda Boulevard will be fully open during non-work hours.
- Emergency vehicle access will be maintained.
