Dear Writing Contestants and Parents-
The Pacific Palisades Library Association would like to invite you to the awards ceremony for our annual Summer Creative Writing Contest for students in Grades 1-12. The ceremony will be Thursday, October 11, from 4:00-5:30 pm in the Library's Community Room. Our wonderful actors, Bill and Christine, will return to perform the winning stories, and refreshments will be served.
We realize that the Vice Presidential debate is that same evening, so we are going to start promptly at 4:00 and end at 5:30. We'll start serving refreshments at 3:45.
The event is to celebrate the efforts of our community's young authors and to recognize outstanding writing. We do not notify winners ahead of time, but if you are not able to make it, please contact me and I'll ask someone to video the actors reading your story if you are a winner.
