Updated With 81 Flashmob Photos: What's With the Dancing at the Getty?

Something unusual happened at the Getty Saturday afternoon. We asked our readers to help us understand. (UPDATED with photos.)

Sunday evening update: Thanks to Brentwood Patch reader Dan Cooke for uploading 81 photos of Saturday's "Gettipede" flashmob at the Getty Center.

"I love the mayhem I go out and take part of," he wrote on his site. "Yesterday was another GLA mission, the Gettipede, where a line of people start working around the Getty Center here in LA and do the same thing as the person in front, say the same thing and [make] same kind of movements. It's fun to watch all of this."

Undulating lines of dancers instigated by a "guerilla" group have infiltrated the . Disguised as ordinary art lovers, the guerillas are snaking around the museum's Brentwood campus.
