Photos: Caffe Luxxe Celebrates Mascot Sammy's Birthday

The trendy cafe is located in Santa Monica and Brentwood and its mascot Sammy, who's been there since the business opened, turned 12.

Four-legged guests and their owners stopped by Caffe Luxxe's Montana Avenue location last weekend to celebrate the 12-year-old birthday of the business' Samoyed mascot, Sammy.

"Sammy has been a Caffe Luxxe family member since the day we opened our doors, and we wanted to celebrate with our customers and their pets whose hearts he has captured," Caffe Luxxe and Sammy co-owner Gary Chau said.

Guests included a Labradoodle, Samoyeds, Austrailian Shepherds, Poodles, Terriers, Dobermans, German Shepherds, Golden Labradors, Boxers and more who indulged in homemade dog biscuits and a dog friendly cake shaped like a bone. Their humans enjoyed vanilla cake with buttercream frosting.
